How Artist Payment Works

We'll keep this short and sweet, there’s just a few things you need to know…

How We Pay You…

  • We pay on the 2nd Tuesday of each month, as long as you're eligible.
  • You must make at least $10 before we pay you.
  • You have to fill in your PayPal email address (on your account details page)
  • We pay by PayPal. We can also issue a check, although there is a $5 service charge to cover postage and handling.

What We Take… What You Make…

  • SONGS/ALBUMS - we take 10% (min of 10¢) plus cc transaction fees
  • RINGTONES - we take 35% (min of 53¢) plus cc transaction fee’s
  • You make around 62˘ on a song (@ $0.99), or $8.52 on an album (@ $9.99)
  • You can sell your Songs/Ringtones for as little as 37¢/79¢, however, payout is zero.

Artist/Label Bank

  • The artist or label bank (link in Control Panel) will give you detailed info on sales.
  • It will also let you know if you’ve made enough to get paid.
  • You can elect to 'Convert Sales to Store Credit'
  • If you want to wait to have a check sent out. You can select 'do not pay me yet'
